Engelberg Private Guiding
EngelbergEngelberg is widely regarded as one of Europe’s premier destinations for off-piste skiing, offering exceptional terrain, reliable snowfall and over 2,000 vertical metres of lift-accessed skiing.
Based in Engelberg, we take advantage of local knowledge, current conditions and flexible planning to find the best possible skiing each day. Classic descents such as Laub, Steinberg, Sulz and Galtiberg are part of the area’s rich skiing heritage, but they represent only a small portion of what the region has to offer.
Beyond the well-known runs, a vast network of valleys, couloirs, glaciers and ski touring terrain provides outstanding opportunities for exploration. Whether your goal is powder skiing, ski touring or steep terrain, we tailor each day to the group, the conditions and the experience we want to create.
Having lived and worked in Engelberg for more than a decade, we know when to stay, when to move and where to find the best skiing.

Program
No two weeks in Engelberg are the same. Weather, snowfall and avalanche conditions constantly influence where and how we ski, which is why flexibility is an essential part of every successful trip.
Our goal is simple: to find the best possible skiing available. Depending on conditions, this may involve classic off-piste descents from Titlis, ski touring in the surrounding mountains, lift-accessed freeride terrain or short hikes to access less-travelled objectives.
The Engelberg region offers far more than the well-known runs beneath Titlis. Bannalp, Brisen, Melchsee-Frutt, the Engelberg Valley and neighbouring mountain regions provide outstanding opportunities for both freeride skiing and ski touring.
A typical trip consists of three to five days of skiing, with each day planned according to current conditions and the ambitions of the group.
Whether the priority is powder skiing, ski touring, steep terrain or simply experiencing the best of Engelberg, we adapt the program to create the best possible mountain experience.
What to expect
BEST SKIING AVAILABLE
Rather than following a fixed itinerary, we focus on finding the best snow and skiing available each day. Local knowledge, flexibility and current mountain conditions determine where we go.
SKI TOURING & FREERIDE
Depending on conditions and group ambitions, the program may combine lift-accessed freeride skiing with ski touring in the surrounding mountains.
PRIVATE GROUPS
Private guiding allows us to tailor each day to the group’s experience level, objectives and expectations.
SAFETY & DECISION-MAKING
Every day begins with a review of current conditions, avalanche safety equipment and the plan for the day. Sound decision-making and risk management remain at the core of every mountain experience.
