EngelbergDiscovering the real mountain adventure in Engelberg. Engelberg is the Off-piste, freeride & powder skiing Mecka in central Switzerland, close to Zürich. “Engelberg Backcountry Skiing”, freeride & backcountry ski-touring. Mount Titlis offer over 2000 vertical meters with huge areas of backcountry terrain.
Classic skiruns such as Laub, Sulz, Galtiberg & Steinberg. But there is more – Engelbergtal and surrounding mountains are huge and we are happy to guide you to some of the secrets spots.

Program 4days example
DAY 1
Flight to Zürich Airport. Welcome drink at Hotel Central and guide meeting with pre-info about the conditions, weather and equipment for the upcoming days. Overnight stay at Hotel Central.
DAY 2
Off-Piste skiing at Titlis-Brunni with avalanche education in terrain. After a nice dinner and some drinks at Hotel Central we have a short speak about avalanche safety for ski-touring and off-piste skiing and more info about the upcoming days.
DAY 3
Adventure skiing at Bannalp/Titlis backside or Brisen with some short hikes. Overnight stay in at Hotel Central.
DAY 4
Ski-tour/Freeride in Engelberg Valley. Afterski at Central.
DAY 5
Ski-tour/Freeride in Engelberg Valley. Traveling to Zürich in the late afternoon.

Best skiing at the moment
The concept is simple – go ski as much as possible and search for the best snow and skiing the mountains around Engelberg can offer. Engelbergtal and surrounding mountains contains much more than the Titlis ski-area and we are happy to guide you to some of the secrets spots.
Ski-touring
We also offer ski touring. Depending on conditions and the group ambition we may propose one or couple of days ski touring in the surrounding area.
Small groups
We ski in private groups up to 8 clients per guide.
Safety
All our offpist days and courses starts with a safety briefing and review of avalanche safety equipment.

We are happy to arrange “Engelberg backcountry skiing” weekends from December to April. Please feel free to send a request for dates that are not shown.

Note
Expenses for the guide is not included in the daily fee(lifts, travel costs, lodging etc.) Trips and courses with travel days have their own pricing.
Guide fee is depending on
- Type of activity and where
- Course seriousness and difficulty
- Course length (day tour or bivinights included)
- If going alone or in a bigger group
- If booking a single day or several days
- High season or low season
The price is based on the recommended daily fee by the Swiss Bergführerverband, SBV.
Safety equipment
Tranceiver, shovel and probe is obligatory for all offpist activities. Airbag rucksack is also highly recommended.
Technical equipment
For some ski-tours we will need ice-axe, crampons, harness and glacial safety equipment.
Rent
In Engelberg you can rent freeride skis, ski-touring equipment and technical mountaineering equipment. Please let me know if you need to rent any safety equipment or/and technical equipment.
