Keb Haute Route

Kebnekaise - Nallo - Vistas

Experience the vast wilderness of Swedish Lapland on a classic ski touring traverse through the most alpine mountain region in Sweden.

Linking Kebnekaise, Tarfala, Nallo and Vistas, this journey combines outstanding ski touring, remote mountain huts and the unique atmosphere of the Scandinavian mountains. Compared to the Alps, the terrain feels larger, quieter and far more remote, offering a genuine wilderness experience far from roads, lifts and crowds.

Over five days we travel through the heart of the Kebnekaise massif, adapting the route to current weather, snow and mountain conditions. Long valleys, dramatic peaks and endless open terrain create exceptional opportunities for ski touring and exploration.

The tour traditionally concludes with an ascent of Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest mountain, providing a fitting finale to one of Scandinavia’s classic multi-day ski touring journeys.

ALTERNATIVE ITINERARIES

The Kebnekaise region offers exceptional flexibility, allowing us to adapt the program according to weather, snow conditions and group objectives.

In addition to the classic traverse, helicopter-supported itineraries can be arranged to access more remote terrain, avoid difficult approach conditions or create longer point-to-point journeys through Swedish Lapland.

These programs combine ski touring, remote mountain huts and selected helicopter transfers to maximise time in the mountains while maintaining the wilderness character of the experience.

Depending on conditions, areas around Abisko, Tarfala, Nallo, Vistas, Riksgränsen and Narvik can be incorporated into the itinerary.

We are happy to arrange “Haute Route Keb” from end of Mars to beginning of May.
